For our 25th Anniversary in May 1997, DeLaSalle sponsored an educational colloquium at the Westin Crown Center.
Seated behind me at the two tables were PBS radio personality, Ray Suarez, Marva Collins, the founder of the famous Westside Preparatory School in Chicago, Professor Henry Levin of Stanford University, and Professor Howard Fuller, former superintendent of the Milwaukee Public Schools and current Director of the Institute for the Transformation of Learning at Marquette University.
It was an outstanding anniversary for DeLaSalle and a memorable event for the community!
